The Floyd Davis CollectionThe Floyd Davis Collection consists of forty-one finished and unfinished wood sculptures that were created between 1948 and up to his passing in 1999. They are hand crafted and hand finished, exuding the pride and work ethic that typified my grandfather. more on the tradition in wood ...My name is Jeff Vahldick, as the proud grandson of Floyd Davis, I have been obsessed with his work my entire life. In fact, a large portion of my adult life has been devoted to preserving these masterpieces. And now, after much reflection, I feel the best way to preserve his work will be to show and sell the Floyd Davis collection so he will receive the national recognition as one of the truly great self-taught American artists of the 20th century.
